Highlights & Happenings: The Workshops

Although the plan from the beginning has been to make this hoedown as "bare bones" as possible, everyone on the planning committee is getting so excited about planning an IAGLCWDC-hosted convention that they just can't help adding a frill here and an embellishment there. The Workshop Committee is no exception!

The Workshop Committee is collaborating with the Dance Competitions Committee to put together a cadre of instructors and a schedule of dance lessons that will attract and satisfy dancers from a variety of dance backgrounds and traditions, with something for beginners as well as the intermediate and advanced.
People attend hoedowns for a variety of reasons--some to dance, some to learn to dance, some to watch others dance, and many for a mixture of the three. So if you are one of those who attend to get quality dance instruction, you are in for a treat. Your weekend registration fee is about the same as the price of just one hour with a professional dance instructor. What a bargain!
